USB Conference

In April 2017 the USB (Stellenbosch Business School) will host a conference in association with the University of Bath, the School of Management and the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD) to address the potential of Business Schools and higher education’s contribution through research, teaching, community engagement and leadership to the well-being of everyone and their inclusive development which relate to diversity and equity in terms of academic faculty, leaders and managers, and the social inclusiveness of the student body. A two-day conference with breakaway sessions and a gala event will be hosted in Stellenbosch.

 

 

DToE Conference

In April 2016, DToE, in association with the Western Cape Education Department(WCED) and Stellenbosch University(SU) wanted to enhance the Digital Transformation of Education among decision makers; school principals, members of governing bodies, teachers responsible for IT and educators who want to inspire young minds and implement change. A two-day conference with workshops, exhibitors and a network event was hosted at the NH Lord Charles Hotel, Somerset West.

 

 

 

ACMP Africa

The Association of Change Management Practitioners is a global organisation started a branch in Africa in 2010. Their aim was to create and build awareness in South Africa among HR and Change Management Practitioners. Monthly network events were held in Cape Town and Johannesburg with an annual conference attracting speakers and delegates from Africa and globally.

 

 

IMESA

In 2012 the Institute of Municipal Engineering of Southern Africa (IMESA) hosted their annual 4-day conference and exhibition for the engineering sector in South Africa in the George, Southern Cape Region. 700 delegates with 83 exhibitors were welcomed at the Railway Museum in George. A 3-day Ladies Companion tour, Golf Tournament and Social Functions and study tours were organised for them.
